Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd consolidated sales up 2.63% on year in Q2FY2026 As on : 06-Aug-26  14:26

Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd share price inched up 3.04% to Rs 154.35 after the company's net profit plunged by 31.12% to Rs 1075.66 crore, while revenue from operations improved marginally 2.63% to Rs 34912.4 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Auto Components & Equipments industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 11.11 lakh crore, gaining 5.50%. It has improved by 4.87% over last one week and heading higher by 12.27% in last one month while the market capitalization of Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd has marginally improved by 5.25% and 16.98% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd stood at Rs 1532.89 crore in Q2 FY26, rallying 75.82% year-on-year, and plunging by 22.95% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 3015 crore, expanding by 26.78% YoY and tanking 19.25% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 5.09% to Rs 33505.76 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 19378.83 crore, growing marginally by 7.62% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 8945.55 crore, improving by 7.76% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations grew 11.09% to Rs 1.25 lakh crore, while net profit eased 1.45% to Rs 4085.55 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 1063361% to Rs 11592.39 crore, and PBT saw a minor gain of 6.91% to Rs 5624.87 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 11283.97 crore in FY26, as against Rs 6286.18 crore in FY25. Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd surged by 58.49% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.64% during the same period.
